Discover a unique corner of the Andean mountain range with this excursion to the Cajon Grande Hot Springs. Leaving from Malargüe, we travel along Route 40 southwards, passing by Bardas Blancasand then International Route 145 ".Pehuenche Pass". As you go deeper into the mountains, you reach a picturesque valley that is home to the famous open-air hot springs, known for their healing properties.

The area has a camping site with basic services and a small restaurant where you can taste typical dishes, such as trout or Malargüino goat, in a matchless natural environment. The return trip follows the same route, offering a new opportunity to enjoy the spectacular mountain range sceneries.

Itinerary

Drive along Route 40 to Bardas Blancas.

Continuation along International Route 145 to the access to the Cajón Grande Hot Springs.

Arrival at the Cajon Grande Valley and enjoy the hot springs.

Additional information

Wear warm clothing and footwear suitable for walking.

Bring water to stay hydrated, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses and an extra pair of socks.

If you plan to enjoy the hot springs, remember to bring a towel and a towel.

We recommend carrying cash.

Cancellations made 7 or more days prior to the start of the tour: Refund of 90% of the total value of the tour (10% is retained for administrative expenses).
Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the start of the tour: Reimbursement of 40% of the total value of the tour.
Cancellations within 72 hours prior to the start of the tour or in case of no-show: No refunds will be made.
