Explore two hidden gems of Argentine Patagonia on this exciting full-day excursion. Departing from Bariloche along National Route 40, we begin our journey through breathtaking scenery. We cross the Ñireco Stream and the Ñirihuau River, and then border the spectacular Nahuel Huapi Lake until we reach the Limay River, the border between the provinces of Río Negro and Neuquén. We continue through the Newbery pampa and pass by Rincón Chico before reaching the Amphitheater, a rock formation reminiscent of a Roman circus with its impressive shapes.
Our tour takes us to the Enchanted Valley, where we go through coihue forests until we reach Confluencia, where the Traful and Limay rivers meet. Following the edge of the Traful River, we reach the Traful viewpoint and then the picturesque Villa Traful, located on the shore of the lake of the same name. Continuing our way through Puerto Arrayán and El Portezuelo, we join the famous Route of the 7 Lakes (National Route 234). Passing through dense forests and bordering Lake Espejo, we arrive at Villa La Angostura, where you have time to enjoy lunch and tour its charming shopping center.
After exploring the Port of Villa La Angostura, the Mansa and Brava Bays, as well as the El Mesidor Residence, we return along National Route 231, passing through Puerto Manzano and bordering the Huemul Arm of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Finally, we travel a road with several elevations that takes us along the Huemul Peninsula until we join National Route 237 back to Bariloche.
