The experience <\/strong>comienza recorriendo la Ruta Provincial 82, donde disfrutamos esta incre\u00edble adventure <\/strong><\/a>through the landscapes of Cacheuta <\/strong>until we cross the tunnel that connects this town with Potrerillos. We contemplate the marvelous view of the Cordon del Plata<\/strong>main source of water for Mendoza<\/strong>and of the picturesque Potrerillos Dam<\/strong>crystal-clear water mirror between the mountains<\/strong>. We continue along this road through tunnels and bridges, until we reach the Uspallata Valley, where we make a strategic stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once we continue along the route, we prepare ourselves for the highlight of the output<\/strong><\/a>: the Aconcagua Provincial Park<\/a><\/strong>We hiked for approximately two hours to the viewpoint of the Horcones Lagoon<\/strong>where we can see the South Wall and the summit of the highest mountain in America<\/strong> (6962 masl).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This tour was designed to experience unforgettable landscapes and relive the fascinating stories that have left their mark on these trails. We invite you to experience the sensation of standing in front of Mount Aconcagua!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u26a0\ufe0f Important Notice - Winter Season in High Mountains<\/strong>
With the arrival of the first snowfall, the usual route of the Aconcagua Experience hike is modified for safety reasons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aconcagua Park closed:<\/strong> During the winter season it is not possible to enter the Aconcagua Provincial Park, therefore it will not be possible to hike to the Laguna de los Horcones. In its place, an alternative hike will take place in the mountain area, weather conditions permitting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lunch<\/strong>The lunch will not be a box lunch, but will take place in an enclosed mountain hut in the Las Cuevas area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Road conditions<\/strong>It is important to take into account that the itinerary may be restricted and access to all the planned points is not guaranteed, as it will depend on the regulations and controls of the National Roads and\/or Gendarmerie. The excursion will take place anyway, although its duration and route will be subject to the conditions of the day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
